Kelly Bevels, 1889

After redesigning the bevels of their axes for both functionality and manufacturing reasons in 1889, Kelly bevels took on a much more "rounded" appearance. Though the "triangular" recess is still apparent, the interior angle would be much more circular as time progressed.
