Ideal Ridge Bevels

First noted in literature around 1898, the patent for this design was approved in 1900. The designer, Fred T. Powell, was the owner of the Jamestown Axe Company prior to its inclusion in the American Axe and Tool Company, and he went on to be an active member of that company.
