Wedge

The Wedge pattern's name describes its configuration quite well. The progression of the cheek and body from the poll is consistent and “flat”, creating a “wedge” like shape. The bottom edge approaching the heel may or may not have a curvature, but in those with a curve, it is generally minimal.

The Wedge patterns are generally thought to have originated in the northeast, Maine in particular.
